What is standard Arabic?

Standard Arabic is the Arabic language and vocabularies used in Holy Quran. Some Scholars called it Classical Arabic. Because of many literary texts from Islamic Golden Ages (7th to 9th centuries) written with it.

Until today Muslims are studying Standard Arabic because:

  • It is the official Arabic Language any one could use at any country and understand other Arabic Speakers instead of local Arabic slangs.
  • And also in order to read and understand the Qur'an in its original language.
