What is the meaning of tafseer?
The science of tafsir is being used to the explanation of the Qur'an, which was given to the Prophet Muhammad at Mecca by Allah (Glory be to him).
The Arabic word tafseer or tafsir “تفسير” means Quran Interpretation.
A Quranic tafseer aims to clarify, explain, interpret, provide context for, or offer commentary on Allah's words so that readers might believe them.
Tafseer Quran makes use of knowledge from a variety of areas, including linguistics, theology, and law, to achieve this.
